March 31, 2026
Technomar Crew Management Corporation (TCMC) proudly celebrates every woman in the maritime industry. As we close another meaningful Women's Month, we reflect on a journey defined by empowerment, professional growth, and holistic well-being.
Throughout March, our focus was on recognizing the invaluable contributions of women who continue to propel our industry forward—whether navigating the vast blue horizons at sea or leading with excellence across our shoreside operations.

Honoring Excellence at Sea and Ashore
The maritime sector is evolving, fueled by the talent and tenacity of women who challenge the status quo. This month, TCMC took the time to recognize the "Empowered Women" among us. Whether managing complex logistics in the office or navigating technical challenges on deck, their presence is a cornerstone of our collective success. We celebrate their resilience, their leadership, and their unique ability to steer the industry toward a more inclusive future.

Breaking the Brass Ceiling: TCMC Celebrates Our First Female Officer
TCMC is proud to announce a historic milestone in our company's history: the promotion of 4th Engineer Noreen Joy Tabujara, the very first female officer to join our fleet.
A Journey from Cadet to 4th Engineer
From her early days as a Cadet to her steady rise through the ranks, she has consistently shown the technical expertise and leadership required to excel in the demanding field of the maritime industry. Her promotion is not only a personal achievement but also a powerful symbol of progress for our entire organization.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to join the vessel as the first female officer on board. It is an honor to be part of a professional team where dedication, teamwork, and respect guide our work every day. I hope my journey encourages more women to pursue a career at sea and contribute to the maritime industry."
— 4th Engineer Noreen Joy Tabujara
Voices of Leadership: Messages of Support
Capt. Sherwin Kim D. Batingal and Chief Engineer Jodito Pantonial share in this proud moment, recognizing the skill and character Noreen brings to her role aboard the vessel:

"This marks a significant step forward for diversity and inclusivity in our industry. Competence and professionalism know no gender—only commitment to the job and the safety of the ship. Wishing her a successful journey ahead, fair winds, and following seas."
— Capt. Sherwin Kim D. Batingal

"This achievement reflects true perseverance. As you step into this role, remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Stay focused, keep learning, and continue striving for excellence. The journey ahead is demanding, but with your determination, success is certain."
— Chief Engineer Jodito Pantonial
As we celebrate 4th Engineer Tabujara's achievement, TCMC reaffirms its commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where every crew member, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Congratulations, 4th Engineer Tabujara! Your TCMC family stands behind you as you lead the way for the next generation of women at sea. Wishing you smooth sailing and continued success in your career.

A Focus on Vitality: Women's Health & Wellness Seminar
True empowerment requires a foundation of health and self-care. To conclude our celebrations, we held a Women's Health & Wellness Seminar on March 23, 2026, at the TCMC office.
The session was led by Dra. Rosemarie Cabujat, MD, who shared invaluable expertise on maintaining physical and mental wellness while balancing the rigors of a career in maritime.

From preventative health measures to stress management, the seminar provided a supportive environment for our team to prioritize their well-being.
"A healthy professional is an empowered professional. By investing in our health today, we ensure the strength of our industry tomorrow."

Beyond March
While the official celebrations may end with the month, our commitment to supporting and elevating women does not. We continue to advocate for a "Culture of Care" that ensures every woman in our maritime family has the tools, the health, and the opportunities to thrive.
To all our empowered women, we salute your brilliance and courage.
